Trust & safety

Open ears. Clear boundaries.

Updated October 13, 2026. Runny Bunny combines automated classification, catalog metadata, listener reports, and human review to make podcast discovery safer without treating every difficult topic as harmful.

1. What we classify

Our systems attempt to identify sexually explicit material; hate, harassment, and targeted abuse; violence and threats; child sexual abuse or exploitation and other child-safety risks; encouragement of suicide or self-harm; dangerous or illegal activity; scams, impersonation, and manipulated engagement; exposure of private information; copyright concerns; spam and misleading metadata; and harmful medical or civic misinformation.

2. Context matters

Age-appropriate relationship stories, consent education, puberty information, and sexual or reproductive health education are not automatically treated as explicit content. Sexual orientation is not a removal criterion. We apply the same safety rules regardless of identity or viewpoint. Pornographic or erotic content intended primarily for sexual stimulation is not eligible for the Runny Bunny app.

3. Teen Safe

Teen Safe is the default discovery setting. It uses available explicit-content labels, titles, descriptions, feed metadata, safe-search controls, and internal rules to keep explicit material out of search and recommendations. Unknown or unclassified mature material may be withheld pending review.

4. Private reporting

Listeners can report episodes and comments without making the report public. Reports, reasons, reporter identifiers when available, and moderation status are visible only to authorized Runny Bunny moderators and service providers supporting the review. A report does not automatically remove content.

5. Human review and outcomes

Automated systems can be incomplete or wrong. Moderators may keep content, correct its category or age classification, reduce recommendation eligibility, restrict access, remove a comment or listing, suspend an account, or refer urgent illegal or child-safety matters to appropriate authorities or hosting providers. We prioritize credible child-safety threats and imminent harm.

6. Creator responsibilities

Creators and publishers must provide accurate metadata and age suitability, hold the necessary distribution rights, and disclose material content risks. Approval does not guarantee ranking and may be reconsidered if content or metadata changes.

7. Corrections and appeals

If you believe a classification or moderation decision is wrong, email bunny@tindlo.com with the show or episode URL, the decision at issue, and relevant context. We may request proof that you represent the affected creator or rights holder.

This operational policy is not legal advice and should be reviewed by qualified counsel before public launch.
